Tight timescales for a major national law firm to meet the government’s mandatory Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme proved no obstacle for Inteb when a quick turnaround resulted in meeting compliance deadlines.

Gordons LLP, one of the UK’s most successful law companies with a client base covering some of the biggest brand names in the country, approached Inteb to fulfil its ESOS compliance requirements. Time was of the essence to avoid penalties if their energy audit had not been completed.

Inteb helped Gordons to assess its areas of significant energy consumption and to establish a suitable and compliant assessment methodology to meet the Environment Agency deadline. This had to be done in a cost-effective way and, at the same time, maximise the benefits from identifying energy efficiency opportunities across its office buildings as well as in business travel.

They helped us to understand the requirements of ESOS, how they applied to our business and then provided us with clear and helpful advice on how to maximise the benefits of the scheme. Timescales were very tight but Inteb planned the work in, liaised with the Environment Agency on our behalf and submitted our notification by the deadline. We were impressed by Inteb’s ability to take on the work at short notice and provide a high quality service while meeting the required timescales with minimal impact on our business activities.
